Water Quality Monitoring

The 24 hour Water Quality Monitoring Buoy data is now available, thanks to Northern Beaches Council.

Data is collected every 15 minutes which allows for improved understanding of the dynamics of the lagoon and more targeted responses to challenges it may face.

Parameters measured include: pH, Dissolved Oxygen, Turbidity, Chlorophyll, Blue Green Algae, Temperature and Electrical conductivity. The buoy is currently located near Hinkler Island.
